Lake City, FL – Young athletes in Lake City will soon have access to expanded training opportunities as the City Council approved zoning changes for a new elite gymnastics personal training facility.
The Council unanimously approved both the land use change and rezoning for property that will house the growing gymnastics program. The facility represents an investment in youth sports and fitness opportunities for the community.
“They have a facility now, but they need room to grow,” explained Carol Chadwick, representing the property owners during the meeting. The new location will provide the space needed for expanded programming and equipment.
The approved changes align with the surrounding commercial development in the area, ensuring the facility fits well within the neighborhood while providing a valuable service to Lake City families. This development adds to Lake City’s growing reputation as a community that supports youth athletics and healthy lifestyle choices.
